How the assistant reads and answers a question

First the reading, then the number, worked out by the calculator.

  1. Ask in plain words, typed or spoken.
  2. The assistant shows how it read you, like “Reading it as 15% of $84.50 ÷ 3”, plus any assumptions it made.
  3. Tap Yes to go ahead, or Edit to change it. If you do nothing, it goes ahead after a moment.
  4. The calculator’s own code works out the number. The AI only reads your words; it never does the math.

The answer lands on the display like any other number and stays in the conversation as a card. Tap the number on a card, or tap Use, to bring it back to the display later.

Press and hold your question in the conversation for Copy or Ask again.
