C, AC and ⌫ on Glass; CLx and its shifted forms on Vintage.

Clearing never touches memory, stored registers or History.

Glass

  • C (while you’re typing) clears just that number and keeps the rest of the calculation.
  • AC clears everything.
  • ⌫ removes the last digit.

Vintage

  • CLx clears the number you’re typing and keeps the rest of the calculation.
  • f CLx clears the pending calculation and the RPN stack.
  • g CLx clears the financial registers: n, i, PV, PMT, FV and the cash flows.
  • f ⌫ clears storage registers 0 to 9; g ⌫ clears the statistics.
